During this introductory basic injectables certification course we  will go over all the current neuro-toxins on the market, dosage, reconstitution, patient selection, side effects and safety considerations.  Areas covered will be on-label uses for treating crows feet, frown lines, and forehead wrinkles.  We will also discuss tips and clinical pearls for making your practice a successful endeavor - whether starting a new med-spa or just seeking to make some extra cash in this lucrative and ever growing field.

Filler didactics include discussions of all the current fillers on the market, including Allergan, Galderma and Merz family of products such as Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse and Sculptra, uses and what fillers go where.  Anatomy, safety and client selection will be taught. You will learn basic lip injections, treatment of peri-oral lines, naso-labial folds (smile lines) and correction of down-turned mouth and marionette lines during the hands-on portion of the class.  You will be injecting on live models in a fun, relaxed atmosphere in the afternoon portion of the class.

This live hands -on course is limited to small groups of four enrollees, in order to ensure the best experience and the participants to get the most experience injecting as possible. Most schools have very large classes with up 13 or more which leaves little room for individualized instruction.  The morning portion of the class will be didactic and then after lunch break you will be injecting live models.

After registration, you will be contacted with instructions. You are required to furnish your own models, but if you need help securing models, we will help you once you register.

Upon completion of the day, student will have a good beginning grasp of neurotoxins and fillers and will be able to competently treat patients with this new found knowledge. Certificates of completion will be mailed at the end of the course and 4 Continuing Education credits granted.
